Whitefield International College
Following the quality and integrity of “Whitefield Secondary School, Whitefield International College was established in 2053 B.S to provide higher level of quality education at an affordable price. The college provides Secondary level of education in Management , Science and Humanitites under National Examination Board(NEB), Nepal and Bachelor Level programmes affiliated to Tribhuwan University (TU).
We believe that true education must not limit itself to completion of syllabus or acquisition of degree but it should instead work for the development of an invidividual and the production of highly qualified human resources for the development of the nation. The curriculum of our school is designed as prescribed by the SEE Board, Government of Nepal (supported by Book & Materials from various international agencies). Regular class tests, unit tests, terminal exams, annual exams and pre-send up exams are conducted to judge the students learning capacity.
Internal Assessment (IA)
The system of Internal Assessment (IA) is in practice for the promotion of students’ all round development and to enhance their academic standard. Generally, IA is conducted in every terminal exam by all the subject teachers. The IA is an effective method based on assessment of social activity, discipline, dress code, class work, homework and lessons taught. To promote active participation in the teaching-learning process, test after the completion of each lesson is conducted. This has helped students realize that mental presence is essential to acquire knowledge.
